The easiest way to lose money is through labor records. These time tickets can control your labor and provide a simple and easy method for recording your labor. Here's how they work. Each technician starts the day with a blank time ticket. When he starts the first job of the day, he simply records the starting time on the bottom slip of the time ticket. When he finishes the job, he records the ending time on the same slip and figures the total time and records it also on the slip. Each slip is perforated so it may be torn off and attached to the back of the work order. We have these time tickets with self adhesive slips or ones that you moisten to adhere to the back of the work order. With each technician recording his labor on these slips and sticking a slip on the back of the work order, you have a permanent record of the exact labor on the back of the work order and the technician's time ticket. Each technician simply turns his time tickets in for the week and is paid from the tickets for his time worked.
